✅ Things that just might work perfectly for BFCM

You asked, we answered.

As we've been discussing Facebook's CAPI more and more, it has also brought to light some questions from the community about Facebook Auto-Advanced Matching – what it is, how to improve it, and what exactly it means for you and your ads, so we put together a pretty all-inclusive blog to try to answer all your questions.

It has real questions from real ad buyers, screenshots, and lots of explanations. Put your smarty pants on, and take a gander.

How to maximize your Facebook and Instagram campaigns this holiday season

Our friend, Akvile, posted this incredibly insightful blog, and even though most of us are in the thick of (hopefully) finishing out our BFCM builds, never fear – there is still time to make improvements and optimizations on your campaigns.

PS - we also recently caught up on Zoom with Akvile to ask her all the questions about Q4 in 2020. Whether you prefer watching the video, listening to the interview, or reading the transcript, check it out on our blog.

A reminder from Social Outlier

This time of year, being a media buyer isn’t easy. It can take a serious toll on your mental health to perform in top shape for this long endurance race. Add on top of it the stress from clients and the working relationships are strained as well.

This holiday season, let’s remember to take care of ourselves and especially our minds. Let’s be kind and join with others in Facebook groups (like this one) to share support. Know one thing, you are not alone.

Last-minute BFCM questions, answered

Our answer? We usually do one set of creative for Black Friday (through the weekend), and another on Cyber Monday (through the end of the sale). While the social proofing is great, the frequencies can get too high, so it's usually needed to change out the creative by Monday.

Creative analysis? Yes, please.

Motion is a new app that helps media buyers analyze their creatives to learn what's performance best and why. In just a few minutes, you can create visual reports based on the variables being tested, like lifestyle vs. product imagery vs. UGC. Perfect for sharing with clients or your creative team!

Fireteam coming in hot with the 🔥 takes

We're not sure how long this Twitter thread took Fireteam to create, but it's literally a lifesaver in what to do if your ROAS is down.

Seriously, like it, retweet it, bookmark it, print it out – whatever you have to do, guaranteed you'll want to come back to this.
