Jake the Ad Nerd's take on BFCM: The Guide
Jake and Daniel get into some incredible advice in this dispatch. From our end, we really appreciate that they mention that it is important to:
βοΈ Have a goal
βοΈ Understand that CPMs & Competition will be high. Control the Controllable.
βοΈ Donβt only focus on new customer acquisition, increase LTV of existing customers.
So many start the holidays without a goal, so establish one. Don't just hope things will go well. Plan for it.
Also, control what you can. Be realistic about it. And finally, remember to take care of your people. If you've filled funnels early, you may be only talking to those in your galaxy already. Don't be too invested on brand new customers during this time.

Meet: Loginhood
π§ Is privacy impacting your Facebook performance? Loginhood put together a fascinating case study showing how Facebook's algorithm may be favoring advertisers that are passing Limited Data Use privacy signals. (Check it out here!)
They've also offered to give a free month of their privacy & LDU management tool for our readers, available as a Shopify app here and for direct installation here.
Copywriting Masterclass, Twitter thread edition
This tweet thread from Good Marketing HQ is an absolute Masterclass in copywriting from Harry's. Take a look because you'll love it.
Selfishly, our favorite re-write was this one:
What was yours? And how can you apply these rewrites and copywriting issues to your own brand(s) and landing pages?
Ready or not, changes are coming to FB Ads Tracking
And you (we) need to be ready.
Do you know Maurice? This guy is not only a great marketer, but a REAL nerd. Here he discusses iOS14 and all the changes that are coming with it.
As he says, they will "fundamentally alter tracking and optimization on Facebook and other paid channels."
It's a doozy of a Twitter thread β take a read. You'll like the way you look after reading it. We guarantee it. π€
We're curious...
