How to get More Leads for Your Digital Marketing Agency

When we polled the Foxwell Founders Membership, an exclusive digital marketing and advertising collective of over 400 ad buyers from around the world about agency leads, lead flow has been mediocre to good at best across the board for new incoming clients looking for advertising partners/agencies this year.

So how do you get more leads while still ensuring high quality clients?

  • Let your current clients know that you have space for a new client and ask if they have any colleagues or business connections who might be looking for a new agency

  • Check out the Hiring Channel in the Foxwell Founders Membership for new leads from brand owners or other agencies who have received leads and aren’t a good fit themselves

  • Connect with other ad buyers, marketers, website developers, and any other positions in similar roles (like ones in the Founders Membership) to keep you in mind when they come across a lead that might be a good fit for you

  • Offer a kickback percentage of retainer fee for people who bring you referrals and sign on with you (Examples of this might be a % of monthly revenue for a year, etc.)

  • Work on and improve your agency website to include more information about what services your agency offers as well as testimonials from clients, case studies with data, bios to get to know the advertisers they would be working with, and more. Also work on your agency SEO for better discovery

  • Have an active Twitter profile where many DTC advertisers and brand owners connect and collaborate. Get your name out there!
